Baseball Recap: Wiregrass Takes a Loss

Wiregrass lost to East Central HomeSchool back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kings came up short against the Patriots, falling 14-4.

Wiregrass saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Treadaway, who went 1-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another was Colt Crisler, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Wiregrass' loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for East Central HomeSchool, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Wiregrass is set to square off against their familiar foe Ezekiel Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, East Central HomeSchool will challenge rival Evangel Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
