Football Recap: Grant Adamson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Highlands Ranch over Bear Creek + How To Watch

After flying high against Kennedy last Thursday, Highlands Ranch came back down to earth. The Falcons fell 28-23 to the Bear Creek Bears on Friday. The contest marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Highlands Ranch lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Grant Adamson, who picked up 127 receiving yards and a pair of scores. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced two fumbles and made one tackle. Rylan Hume was another key player, throwing for 195 yards and two TDs.

Riley Wilson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bear Creek, rushing for 104 yards and one touchdown on only six carries, while also throwing for 232 yards and one TD.

Highlands Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Bear Creek, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
