Volleyball Recap: Winslow Takes a Loss

If Winslow was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Chinle on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs came up short against the Snowflake Lobos on Monday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lobos this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-18, 25-14.

Tamia Haskie paced Winslow's offense, picking up four kills. Haskie got some help from Keira Barton and her six assists.

Winslow dropped their record down to 20-19-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Snowflake, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-8-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Winslow will face off against Tuba City at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Snowflake, they will take on Holbrook at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
