Softball Recap: South Fort Myers Comes Up Short

After soaring to 24 runs the game before, South Fort Myers was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Babcock Trailblazers, falling 21-1.

South Fort Myers saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonae McCree, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases. That's the most stolen bases McCree has posted since back in February of 2024.

South Fort Myers' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Babcock, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

South Fort Myers has already played their next match, a 19-2 defeat against Neumann on the 6th. As for Babcock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 21-1 victory against Dunbar on the 11th.
