The Lyon County Lyons will take on the Livingston Central Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lyon County will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Lyon County got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They came out on top against Crittenden County by a score of 5-2. That's two games straight that the Lyons have won by exactly three runs.

Lilly Perry spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Olivia Moore, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Jenna Coursey, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Livingston Central faced McCracken County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Cardinals skirted past the Mustangs 7-5. That's two games straight that the Cardinals have won by exactly two runs.
Addison Tramble made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over four innings pitched. Tramble was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Emersyn Ramage was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. Chloe Doyle was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Livingston Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for Lyon County, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-7.
