Baseball Recap: Lee Park Prep Takes a Loss

After flying high against North Hills Christian last Thursday, Lee Park Prep came back down to earth. The Knights fell just short of the Grace Academy Lions by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost three in a row.

Isaiah Carpenter made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Lee Park Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Grace Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Lee Park Prep will be playing at home against Gospel Light Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Lee Park Prep is facing Gospel Light Christian at the right time seeing as Gospel Light Christian is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Grace Academy, they will face off against Pro Stock Royals Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
