Baseball Recap: Windermere Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Windermere can now relate to. They lost 9-3 to the Alonso Ravens on Wednesday.

Windermere saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Randy Ruiz, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Windermere's loss dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Alonso, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-10.

While Windermere had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
