It was a good run, but Lincoln East unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Norfolk Panthers who were credited with the win. The Norfolk Panthers got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Lincoln East Spartans' three. Lincoln East were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Norfolk apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Graham Lambert and Cohen Torell scored both of Lincoln East's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Lincoln East's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Norfolk, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.
