Softball Recap: Havelock Comes Up Short

Havelock lost to West Carteret back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams fell 6-3 to the Patriots. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brooklyn Willis was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Havelock's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for West Carteret, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Havelock will face off against West Craven at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.33 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for West Carteret, they will challenge Northside - Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
