Soccer Recap: Smith County Takes a Loss

Smith County managed to keep up with Portland until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Smith County came up short against Portland, falling 4-1. The defeat leaves Smith County still looking for their first win of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Adyn Elliott, who's now up to two this season.

Smith County's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Portland, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0-1.

Coming up, Smith County will take on Lakeway Christian Academy in a tournament on Friday. As for Portland, they will welcome White House at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Portland is facing White House at the right time seeing as White House is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
