Basketball Recap: Roswell Finds Home Court Redemption Against Cherokee

There's no place like home for Roswell, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Cherokee Braves a 2-0 shutout on Monday. The two-point effort marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Roswell's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Cherokee, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Roswell has already played their next matchup, a 65-55 win against Blessed Trinity on the 3rd. As for Cherokee, they will venture away from home to square off against Highlands at 8:00 p.m. on January 7th.
