Wylie waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Lakeview Centennial Patriots as they made off with an 11-1 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-2 on Wednesday.

Wylie's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-7. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Lakeview Centennial, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Wylie will challenge Wylie East at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeview Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
