Basketball Recap: Powell Comes Up Short

If Powell was riding high fresh off their 70-35 takedown of Halls last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Powell Panthers were outmatched by the Oak Ridge Wildcats and fell 76-32. The Panthers have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Powell's defeat dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Oak Ridge, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-3.

As of now, neither Powell nor Oak Ridge have any future games scheduled.
