Baseball Recap: Walton Takes a Loss

Walton fell victim to West Florida and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the West Florida Jaguars, falling 12-0. The Braves just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Walton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Casen Sullivan, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Walton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for West Florida, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Walton will face off against Bay at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Walton has given up an average of 7.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for West Florida, they will challenge Navarre at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
