Volleyball Recap: Memorial Takes a Loss

Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Klein Collins Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Klein Collins, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Memorial will venture away from home to challenge St. Agnes Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Klein Collins, they will head out to square off against Tomball at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
