Basketball Game Preview: Travis Rebels vs. Manor New Tech Titans

The Travis Rebels will take on the Manor New Tech Titans at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Travis opened the new year with a less-than-successful 52-44 defeat to Legacy Ranch.

Meanwhile, Manor New Tech waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They claimed a resounding 78-47 win over the Panthers. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 31 points or more this season.

Manor New Tech's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Travis, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Travis ended up a good deal behind Manor New Tech in their previous matchup back in January of 2025, losing 67-53. Thankfully for the Rebels, Ja'Den Stiggers (who shot 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double with 29 points and 11 boards) won't be suiting up this time.
