Thurston was the 7-2 winner over Crater when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Colts fell just short of the Comets by a score of 8-7 on Friday. The Colts' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Raygan Litle stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Rosie Montes was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

Thurston's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Crater, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
