Softball Recap: O'Fallon Comes Up Short

O'Fallon was the 1-0 winner over Triad when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 5-2 to the Knights on Saturday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

O'Fallon saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Phillips, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Mackenzie Monroe also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

O'Fallon's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Triad, their victory bumped their record up to 17-11.

O'Fallon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 23-3 win against East St. Louis on the 11th. As for Triad, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Civic Memorial on the 11th.
