Appleton West is a perfect 7-0 against Hortonville since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hortonville also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Appleton North on Tuesday, falling 7-0. Hortonville have struggled against Appleton North recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Hortonville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Appleton West, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7-2.

Appleton West got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 against Hortonville by a conclusive 7-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Terrors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
