Baseball Recap: Merritt Academy Victorious

The matchup between Merritt Academy and FAITH HomeSchool on Thursday hardly resembled the 2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Mustangs came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 12-8. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Ethan Wolfe, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Blake Madaus also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The win got Merritt Academy back to even at 2-2. As for FAITH HomeSchool, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Merritt Academy will head out to challenge University Liggett at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for FAITH HomeSchool, they will welcome Bethany Christian at 6:00 p.m. on May 3.
