Seaside is 7-0 against North Marion since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Seaside Seagulls will square off against the North Marion Huskies at 3:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Seaside is headed into the game having just posted their closest win since February 13, 2024 on Monday. It was close, but they capped 2024 with a 46-43 victory over Marist. The win was all the more spectacular given the Seagulls' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while the Spartans are ranked 24th).

Meanwhile, North Marion didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Sisters on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 74-68 victory.

Seaside's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-7. As for North Marion, their record now sits at 6-3.

Seaside beat North Marion 64-52 when the teams last played back in January of 2022. Will Seaside repeat their success, or does North Marion have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
