Basketball Recap: Hersey Comes Up Short

Hersey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the Glenbrook South Titans. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Hersey's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Glenbrook South, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-7.

Hersey will take on Rolling Meadows at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glenbrook South, they will face off against Loyola Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
