Basketball Recap: Morgan Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hale Ray last Saturday, Morgan came back down to earth. The Morgan Huskies fell just short of the Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils by a score of 45-43 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-47 back in January.

Morgan's defeat dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Coginchaug Regional, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

While Morgan had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
