After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Belleview Christian, Dawson School was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 47-20 win over the Clear Creek Golddiggers. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Golddiggers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Leading Dawson School to victory were Minnie Mangum and Lily Sullivan. Mangum almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards, while Sullivan posted ten points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. Dawson School is 3-1 when Sullivan posts three or more steals, but 2-14 otherwise. Madison Dodge also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Dawson School smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 32 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Dawson School's win bumped their record up to 5-15. As for Clear Creek, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-20.
