Basketball Game Preview: Pleasanton Bulldogs vs. Fullerton Warriors

The Pleasanton Bulldogs will challenge the Fullerton Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Pleasanton is headed into Friday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They lost to Kenesaw on the road by a 56-37 margin on Saturday. The Bulldogs were down 45-25 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Tenley Flood, who posted ten points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Emme Westland, who scored seven points.

Meanwhile, Fullerton won against Elba on Tuesday with 47 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Fullerton took down Lutheran-Northeast 47-29. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Pleasanton's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Fullerton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-11 record this season.

Pleasanton strolled past Fullerton in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 46-28. Does Pleasanton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fullerton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
