Football Game Recap: Waukee vs. Des Moines East

Waukee were successful in their last outing against Des Moines East, and they didn't afford Des Moines East any payback this time around. Waukee came out on top against Des Moines East by a score of 27-19 on Friday. The success made it back-to-back wins for Waukee. The matchup pushed Des Moines East down to 2-4 and pulled Waukee up to the reverse at 4-2.

Next week Waukee take on Ottumwa at 7:00 PM. Unlike Waukee, Ottumwa will be limping in after taking a loss. Des Moines East will be staying on the road, facing off against Mason City. These teams both have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses for Des Moines East and six for Mason City.
