Baseball Game Preview: Bolivar Central Tigers vs. Lexington Tigers

We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Bolivar Central might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-1 to Chester County, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lakeland Preparatory.

Lexington saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Foster, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Bolivar Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Lexington, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Bolivar Central beat Lexington 7-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bolivar Central since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
