Johnny Fontanez posted a new career-high in hits on Thursday. He scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Godwin Heights's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 3-12 when he doesn't).

Fontanez's strong effort led Godwin Heights over Kelloggsville and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long.
