Volleyball Recap: Bradwell Institute Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bradwell Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brantley County Herons. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Herons 25-15 in the first set.

Bradwell Institute actually scored more points across those three sets (57-55), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-22, 15-10.

Sadie Young paced Bradwell Institute's offense, picking up seven kills. Young got some help from Zaydi Perez and her 17 assists. Ahmiya Raby controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Bradwell Institute's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Brantley County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.

Coincidentally, Bradwell Institute and Brantley County will both be playing Long County the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Blue Tide at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Herons will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
