If Bishop O'Dowd was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of San Leandro last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dragons fell just short of the Nevada Union Miners by a score of 2-1 on Sunday. The Dragons' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Bishop O'Dowd's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Nevada Union, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 27-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop O'Dowd will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Alameda at 5:45 p.m. on the 30th. As for Nevada Union, they will take on Del Oro at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
