Baseball Recap: Timberland Comes Up Short

Timberland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-2 to the Academic Magnet Raptors. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 6-5 to the Raptors when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rhys Williams was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Timberland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Academic Magnet, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Timberland will face off against rival Philip Simmons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Academic Magnet is set to take on their familiar foe Woodland at 6:00 p.m. on the 11th.
