Football Recap: Lucas Piles Up the Points Against Vanlue

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lucas). They really took it to the Vanlue Wildcats for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-0 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Cubs had established a 54-point advantage.

The victory got Lucas back to even at 2-2. As for Vanlue, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Lucas will look to defend their home field on Friday against Martins Ferry at 7:00 p.m. As for Vanlue, they will challenge Manchester at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
