Salt Lake Academy has gone 3-0 against American Prep WV recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Salt Lake Academy Griffins will host the American Prep WV Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Salt Lake Academy will be strutting in after a win while American Prep WV will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Wednesday, Salt Lake Academy humbled Wasatch Academy with a 40-10 victory. The Griffins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 23 points or more this season.

Aisha Carreon was her usual excellent self, putting up 17 points. Another player making a difference was Addison Patrick, who posted seven points.

Meanwhile, American Prep WV played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 45-5 loss at the hands of Rockwell. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-3.

Salt Lake Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.6 points per game. As for American Prep WV, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Everything came up roses for Salt Lake Academy against American Prep WV when the teams last played back in December of 2021, as the squad secured a 49-22 victory. Will Salt Lake Academy repeat their success, or does American Prep WV have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
