Game recap: Bergen Catholic wins back-and-forth affair over Bishop Gorman

Bergen Catholic (Oradell, N.J.) took the final lead of the game on Saturday as Team Team ran for a touchdown with with 1:00 to go in the second quarter, bringing the team to victory over Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, Nev.) 42-35.

After taking the lead on a Team touchdown run in the second quarter, the Crusaders led 28-14 at the half.

Each side put up seven points during the third quarter, and the fourth quarter began with the margin still at 14.

Team played well for Bergen Catholic in the victory. He ran for four touchdowns, caught two touchdowns and kicked six extra points.



The loss comes after Bishop Gorman defeated St. Louis 52-40 last week. The loss snapped the Gaels' 2-game winning streak.

In a non-conference game next week Bishop Gorman (2-1) takes on Servite, and Bergen Catholic (2-0) will go up against St. Joseph Regional in a Big North - United game.
