Canon-McMillan has gone a perfect 8-0 against Bethel Park recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Big Macs will square off against the Black Hawks at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Canon-McMillan has three straight wins, Bethel Park has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Thursday, Canon-McMillan earned a 3-1 victory over Upper St. Clair.

The win didn't come easy: Upper St. Clair scored at least 21 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-27, 25-21, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Bethel Park came up short against South Park on Monday and fell 3-1.

Bethel Park's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Canon-McMillan, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Everything went Canon-McMillan's way against Bethel Park when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Canon-McMillan made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Big Macs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
