Statesboro won the last time they faced Islands and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Blue Devils sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Sharks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Blue Devils have posted against the Sharks since August 26, 2021.

The victory made it two in a row for Statesboro and bumps their season record up to 28-14. As for Islands, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 18-12.

Statesboro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Lakeside on the 10th. Islands does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
