Volleyball Recap: Kearny Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Kearny lost against San Diego back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Komets fell 3-1 to the Cavers. The Komets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-10, 21-25, 25-16.

Aliyah Bouriyaphon paced Kearny's offense, picking up five kills. Bouriyaphon got some help from Olivia Etheredge and her eight assists.

Kearny's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for San Diego, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-21 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kearny is set to take on their familiar foe Logan Memorial Education Campus at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, San Diego will face off against rival Hoover at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
