Basketball Recap: Ryer James' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rock Point over St. David

Rock Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 69-43 to the St. David Tigers.

Rock Point lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ryer James, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Tristan Begay was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Rock Point's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for St. David, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-8.

Rock Point wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 76-40 defeat against Fort Thomas on the 11th. As for St. David, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-47 loss against Willcox on the 13th.
