Volleyball Recap: Seven Rivers Christian Comes Up Short

Seven Rivers Christian lost against Real Life Christian Academy back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raptors. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Averie Kelso paced Seven Rivers Christian's offense, picking up 17 kills. Kelso got some help from Camila Venegas and her 28 assists. Venegas was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Seven Rivers Christian's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Real Life Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Seven Rivers Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Academy at the Lakes on the 6th. As for Real Life Christian Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Geneva on the 7th.
