Soccer Recap: Wagner Takes a Loss

Wagner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They came up short against the Boerne-Champion Chargers, falling 7-1. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Thunderbirds struggled afterwards.

Wagner's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Boerne-Champion, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-12-5.

Wagner has already played their next game, an 8-0 loss against Alamo Heights on the 12th. As for Boerne-Champion, they will head out on the road to face off against Tivy at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Tivy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Boerne-Champion surely won't give up without a fight.
