Softball Recap: Madras Drops Highest Score of Season Against Molalla

Madras had lost nine games at home, but after bumping their record up to 4-15 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Molalla Indians 20-8. The White Buffaloes' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for Molalla, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered against Madras since April 17, 2023.

For Molalla's part, Josie Brooks and Madison Shultz stepped up to the plate in a big way. Brooks went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Shultz got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Shultz is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.
