Langley had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. They beat the Wakefield School Fighting Owls by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 52-23. The Saxons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Langley pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Wakefield School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Langley will head out on the road to challenge Herndon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Langley is facing Herndon at the right time seeing as Herndon is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Wakefield School, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 36-5 win against Quantico on the 28th.
