Volleyball Recap: Mitchell County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mitchell County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Taylor County Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Mitchell County's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Taylor County, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Coming up, Mitchell County will be playing at home against Westover at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Taylor County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Stewart County on the 4th.
