Baseball Recap: Hilliard Takes a Loss

Hilliard lost against Christ's Church Academy back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Hilliard fell 5-2 to Christ's Church Academy. The Red Flashes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Conner Bayless made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Hilliard's record is now 3-12. As for Christ's Church Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-7.

Hilliard and Christ's Church Academy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Hilliard will square off against rival St. John Lutheran at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Christ's Church Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe St. Joseph Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
