 The Hoover Vikings will head out on the road to  face off against  the Twinsburg Tigers at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hoover will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
 Hoover is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Jackson  and snuck past  4-2. That's two games straight that Hoover has won by  exactly two  runs.
  Jack Andes and  Mason Ashby were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound,  Andes   tossed 1.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Meanwhile,  Ashby   tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off   seven  hits. Andes has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. At the plate,  Andes  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances, while  Ashby  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Carson Dyrlund was  excellent,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Twinsburg faced Wooster in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Twinsburg blew past Wooster 6-0.
 Hoover is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 12 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record  this season. As for Twinsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 22-6.
