Recap: North Thurston Rams vs. Yelm Tornados
Make it ten blowout wins for the North Thurston Rams this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Yelm 79-33 at home. North Thurston's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Ray Adams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Sheeran, who scored 13 points along with six assists and three steals.
North Thurston's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26 points. As for Yelm, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Thurston will take on Gig Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Yelm, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Central Kitsap at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Central Kitsap is ranked 250th, while Yelm is ranked 236th).
