Volleyball Recap: Ellsworth Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ellsworth can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the St. Croix Falls Saints on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-10, 25-17.

Ellsworth has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-23 record this season. As for St. Croix Falls, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-11.

Ellsworth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Croix Falls, they will face off against Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
