It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the LaFayette Bulldogs ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They secured a 49-45 W over Tallassee. The win made it back-to-back wins for LaFayette.
Among those leading the charge was Branaviyun Story, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Vaderrian Story was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 4 blocks.
When it comes to explaining why Tallassee lost, one person who can't be blamed is Rowen Thornton . Despite the final result, he scored 19 points. The matchup was Thornton 's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ja?marrion McCoy, who scored 10 points.
LaFayette's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Tallassee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
