KIPP San Jose Collegiate's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the ACE Charter Cheetahs as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-17.

Matthew Garcia paced KIPP San Jose Collegiate's offense, picking up six kills. Garcia got some help from Luis Pantoja and his 12 assists. Garcia was also solid from the service line: he led the team with eight aces.

KIPP San Jose Collegiate's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for ACE Charter, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coming up, KIPP San Jose Collegiate is taking a road trip to square off against Summit Tahoma at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for ACE Charter, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against University Prep Academy on the 28th.
