Softball Recap: Lenox Memorial Millionaires vs. Lee Wildcats
Lenox Memorial had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They never let the Lee Wildcats get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The game was the first time the Millionaires have beaten the Wildcats on their field since May 18, 2017.
Evelyn Julieano was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in May of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Lilly MacDonald was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Amaya Alger was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lenox Memorial will challenge Drury at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lee, they will take on Smith Vo-Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
